Apple Picking

Today was a gorgeous fall day, so we went apple picking. As expected, Caroline loved it! Here she is in action, but don't be fooled, she was actually more interested in the rotting apples on the ground!

Caroline went off in search of the perfect apple...

She was determined to carry the bag herself. That bag holds 20 pounds of apples, and it was more than three-quarters full. Seriously. Plus, I'm thinking it's been a while since we've had a good picture of her tongue.
And, just before we left, one more bite (from an apple still on the tree!) Someone is in for a "real nice surprise!"
